This Bridge is a main bridge connecting legship and Rangit Nagar, a township/ residential colony setup for the employees of "National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd.,(NHPC Ltd.) Who are having a "Rangit Dam" at about 8 Km from this bridge. This Dam is constructed and is being used for Hydropower generation. The Powerhouse is at about 6 kms downstream of this bridge. One "Shiva Temple" is also available on the left bank of this Rangit River just near Legship village.
