Aram Bagh Park

The original name of the park was Ram Bagh but after 1947 was changed (un)officially to Aram Bagh. The place was used for political and religious congregations.Earlier it was very green and maintained properly but now it has fallen in neglect.

  • (1947)In the center, there was circular platform used for giving speeches. Havans and Yagya used to take place. Rishis from all over India used to come and give discourses throughout the night.Political speeches by Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Sarojini Naidu, Vijaylaxmi Pandit have taken place.
