Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC) (simplified Chinese: 中华崇仁总医院暨医学中心; traditional Chinese: 中華崇仁總醫院暨醫學中心; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Chóngrénzǒng Yīyuàn jì Yīxué Zhōngxīn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-hoâ Chiông-lîn-chóng I-īⁿ kap I-ha̍k Tiong-sim), also known as the Chinese General Hospital, is a hospital in Manila, Philippines. It is one of the oldest hospitals in the Philippines, founded during the Spanish occupation of the country from donations of Chinese immigrants. The hospital's operations is supported by the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association (PCCA), founded in 1878 when the Chinese community was established in Manila.

The Chinese General Hospital stands unique among the hospitals of the country. It is one of the oldest hospitals of the land, being founded in the Spanish times. It was founded purely from charity donations of well-meaning Chinese immigrants. And it has steadily grown in excellence, fame and service in its 113 years of existence. One key to the hospital’s success is the backing of a strong association, the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association or PCCA. The PCCA was founded much earlier, in 1878, when a group of Chinese immigrants established the “Communidad de Chinos” or Chinese Community. Now in the new millenium, the hospital continues to expand its breadth of charity work to particularly assist the families of policemen, firemen, and others. For more than a century, the Chinese General Hospital, through its directors, has never wavered on its noble mission: to provide help and humanitarian service to the members of the society who are in most need of them.

  • there's a doctor here who i really have a crush on
  • Rui888, perhaps you are a Chinese. What you are saying is totally untrue. There are millions of pure Filipinos without a drop of Chinese blood. You are defending the Chinese who came to the country to steal many many things and most important of all is the identity of the true Filipinos. Be careful if I were you. There are many of us who share the sentiment that the Philippines should be for Filipinos and not for the those with Chinese origin, who, in fact, have corrupted the country that is why the Philippines is it is what is now.
