Iswarpur Village (Nizampur Panchayat Add By Arakhita)This village is formly known as “Thantapada” under Susua G.P, Dasarathpur Block , Mangalpur Thana of Jajpur district. Agriculture is the main occupation of this villagers. One oldest school is here name as Iswarpur UP School, Shayama Sundar High School at the Centre of the village. The village produced famous personalities of the area. Mr. Jadumani Samal and Khetrabasi Nayak are well known figure not only in the village but whole block as humanitarian and educationalist and excellent teacher. Due to their selfless effect the village saw now a days a number of engineers, scientists, both central and state Govt. officers employees. One oldest temple is here named as Madan Mohan Jew closing to the High school. This temple is the center of exploitation, symbol of feudal over lordship. This temple is responsible for the backwardness of the dalits who are forced to be landless, uneducated and poor even today. A small River named Chupudari has flowing on the north side of the village finally ended at Kayngola . Raja festival is the most enjoyable festival when most of the villager celebrated and enjoyed a lot. Besides all the hindu festivals are celebrated with lot of gaiety . Most of the dalit people are innocent , illiterate and poor. The famous social reformer and first educated Dalit of the village was Mr. Narottam Das, ( Naria Das) ( (a dalit) who really fought for the self respect of Dalits against the so called higher castes. In this process he had sacrificed one brother and two nephews.. The village is the place of Mahima religion. Many Dalits of my village are follower this faith. Late Shri Sambhu Nath Nayak is a great preacher of this sect. He was good to all. I love my village very much
