The Hotel Danieli is a historic hotel in Venice, located on the Quai des Schiavoni, not far from Piazza San Marco and the Doge's Palace. It occupies the former palace of the Dandolo family, which prodced several Doges for the city. The Danieli has hosted famous guests such as Goethe, Wagner, George Sand and Alfred de Musset, Honoré de Balzac, Charles Dickens, John Ruskin, Emile Zola, the painters who have left their views, musicians, and it was the setting as well as to literary movies (Eva, Joseph Losey, The Guignolo, Georges Lautner). The hotel offers a privileged view of the lagoon and San Giorgio Maggiore. The interior contains works of art, original furniture and lamps in Murano glass, tapestries, marble columns rose.

It left Marriott's Luxury Collection on January 5, 2023 for a major renovation, and will become a Four Seasons property in 2025.
