Tomago produces aluminium ingots, extrusion billet and rolling slabs. These products are mostly exported to markets mostly in Asia where they’re turned into a variety of products. Tomago Aluminium generates more than $1.1 billion per year in revenue.

POWERING TOMAGO ALUMINIUM
Aluminium smelters use large amounts of electricity to achieve the separation of oxygen and aluminium from alumina and tend to be located where electric power is available from large integrated grid systems. The Hunter region, because of its large and accessible black coal deposits, is the state's major producer of electricity.

Tomago Aluminium is connected directly to the state grid and is one of Australia’s largest users of electricity with its production and processes powered by more than 840 megawatts of electricity.
