Rock Creek Park Grove (Parking Area) 6 (Washington D.C. (District of Columbia))

Grove 6 (AKA Parking Area 6) is where skaters meet on the weekends. Parking Area 6 is the center of the 3.6-mile stretch of Beach Drive (Broad Branch Road to Wise Road) that is closed to thru-traffic on weekends and holidays. The Washington Area Roadskaters (WAR) provides free learn-to-skate clinics here on weekends during Daylight Savings Time (Apr-Oct).
