Ministry of Transport

The Ministry of Transport is in charge of planning, design and construction of road networks to link the cities, towns, villages and hamlets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .

The Ministry is also responsible for boosting traffic safety on such roads through the application of the best international specifications and standards in the execution of roads, providing them with the necessary means of safety and adopting at the sametime sophisticated programs for maintenance .
