Was reached via the Altadena Mountain Railway, a cog railway that led to two elegant "Alpine Hotels" around the turn of the 19th & 20th centuries. Unfortunately fire control water supplies were not adequately thought out, and both hotels burned. Traces of the RR remain. | ||||
