Raven Run is a 374 acre nature sanctuary dedicated to the protection of animals, 200 species of birds, and nearly 400 species of plants, including 40 species of trees, found within its boundaries. Eight miles of hiking trails feature meadow, forest and creek ecosystems as well as historic and geologic features of the Kentucky River Palisades, including a historic brick house and rock fences built by a pioneer family. Trails vary in length and difficulty. The staff of Raven Run regularly provide guided activities for groups including wildflower walks, night hikes, or star gazing. Advance registration is required.

Raven Run is open daily 9am-5pm with extended hours for Friday, Saturday and Sunday during warmer months.
