From Doors Open Ottawa:

"Walkley Yard was built in 1955 by the National Capital Commission, so that Canadian National freight trains could vacate the lands needed for the Queensway. In 1967 Canadian Pacific moved here from Lebreton Flats, occupying two connected NCC-built train workshops. Since then, Canadian National and now Ottawa Central Railway have used the neighbouring freight yard to the south. The City of Ottawa leased the facility from Canadian Pacific in 2001 for Bombardier to handle indoor maintenance of the three Capital Railway O-Trains."
