Shokai reservoir — 0.5 km north of Baimyrza village, Buqar Zhyrau district, Karaganda region. It was built on the Shokai River in 1971 to irrigate 500 hectares of agricultural lands of the former Telman district. The total volume of water is 5 million m³. The area of ​​the water body under normal conditions is 1.2 km², the length is 3.6 km, the widest part is 600 m, and the deepest part is 14.8 m. Perch, mole, and trout live in and near the water.
