A trio of 3-story (plus raised basements) Italianate residential buildings completed together in the 1870s. They are clad in painted brick above painted brownstone basement levels. Each has a high stoop on the right, with iron handrails, leading up to recessed parlor-floor entrances with paneled wood-and-glass double-doors and transoms. There are paneled sideboards in the walls on the sides of the recessed areas. They, along with the doors, are painted grey-green at No. 426, and black at the other two.
No. 426 at the east end is painted grey-green. It retains its original, beveled, segmental-arched entry surround, painted white, with a cornice and peaked lintel. The basement level is rusticated and has two segmental-arched windows with iron grilles. Next to the entrance, the parlor floor has two tall windows with bracketed white stone sills, flat white stone lintels, and elaborate wrought-iron grilles. The upper floors have three bays of shorter single-windows with flat, white sills and lintels.
No. 428 has red brick, with a light-brown painted basement that has been resurfaced. The entry surround has simplified and painted grey, as are the bracketed parlor-floor window sills. The grilles on the basement windows match those at No. 426, and the sills and lintels of the upper-floor windows are painted brown.
No. 430 at the west end is painted a brighter red, and the basement is painted dark grey-brown. The entry surround is painted grey and matches that at No. 426 except for lacking the cornice and lintel at the top. There are matching iron grilles at the basement windows, and the sills have been removed from the parlor-floor windows. The lintels and the sills on the upper floors are painted grey-brown.
Air-conditioning vents have been cut below the middle bays on the top two floors of both Nos. 426 & 428. The three facades are crowned by matching metal roof cornices with acanthus-leaf brackets and panels with elaborate floral designs; the cornices are painted white at No. 426, and black at the other two.
