This is the eastern end of a trail that goes through central McLaren Park. The trail is sometimes tree-growth-covered and there are lots of places to hide. In the 1950's, a rumor began that this trail is said to have been haunted by a black masked "spirit" because of a few unexplained murders (undocumented) that happened years before. Many people (well, children that is) claim to have seen this "ghost". Urban Legend...Maybe?
