The Bellefontaine Bridge is a four-span truss BNSF railroad bridge over the Missouri River between St. Charles County, Missouri and St. Louis County, Missouri.
The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy opened this bridge during 1893, linking St. Louis with Burlington, Iowa. Although constucted as a double-track bridge, it presently only carries a single track of the BNSF Railway. It was also used by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad until 1986. America's railroads built 32 crossings over the Missouri River, of which 23 remain in use.
