The Leprosy Mission, Purulia Leprosy Home and Hospital is started in the year 1888 as an asylum to accomodate leprosy affected people gradually grown up us a referral hospital for leprosy rehabilitation. Now with all modern medical facilities like RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY, PHYSIOTHERAPY, PODIATRY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY , PROSTHETIC TECHNOLOGY and various COMMUNITY BASED PROJECTS,TLM PURULIA stands strong in rehabilitaing leprosy affected people PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, SOCIALLY AND SPRITUALLY.
