  A high school for Science, Technology, and Industry - this school is the county's version of "vo-tech" with a twist. Half of the student body is comprised of students from all over Charles County who compete for spots in various technical programs ranging from automechanics to cosmetology to bio-medical sciences and pre-engineering. The other half of students come from the school zone immediately surrounding. The school was opened and furnished thanks to a large grant from CISCO technologies. Subsequently, the school enjoys many hi-tech ammenities making it not only a school, but often a "conference center" for various school system and community functions.
