Northam Central Business District (Northam CBD) is the second Central Business District (CBD) within the city of George Town. The CBD was created in the mid-1990s, when commercial skyscrapers were built along Northam Road, including Menara MBf, Menara BHL and Northam Tower.

To date, several international banks, financial services and multinational companies (MNCs), including Citibank, CIMB, Ambank, Prudential, Regus, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IHS Markit, operate regional branches within this CBD. In addition, government and private institutions are sited within the CBD as well, including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the Malaysian Employees Provident Fund (KWSP), Wawasan Open University and Gleneagles Penang.
