Gurugem Phuk is a meditation cave close to the monastery of Gurugem. In the eighth-century Bon master Gyerpung Drenpa Namka lived in this cave. Since then, over centuries, the greatest Bon healers lived here. Today the present Abbot of Gurugem Gompa, Rinpoche Tenzin Wangduk lives in the cave.
