Historic section of Denver & Rio Grande Western Railway listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), where it is designated a historic district. The 22.8-mile long branch of railway runs between the towns of Creede and South Fork. The rail dates to 1891 (with modifications made through 1902) and played an important part in the region's silver and gold-mining transportation.
