Secondary medical complex (L&H200) (Downey, California)

USA / California / Paramount / Downey, California / golandrinas, 200-211
 hospital, apartment complex

The secondary medical complex is a row of Spanish framed buildings built originally in the 1920's they were infirmary wards that remained in use as such until sometime in the 1970s when they were remodeled to house departments, equipment and personnel not related directly to the patients or inmates (unless they were dead). Aka: the L & H 200s because four of them are connected by hallways making them resemble a capitol "H". While the rest resemble a lower case "L". The two "H's" were a human resource department and a tailor the rest of the "L's" have various classifications such as a laboratory building and one called "Hobby development" which contains among other things a Dark room and photography paraphernalia. The very last one; building "211" was the "histopathology" department which I believe makes it a laboratory for studying corpses. Ironically, 211 was inhabited for several years by a married couple who spent a lot of time scrapping and studying the rest of the asylum. They managed to compile a rather impressive collection of tools and Los Amigos artifacts. They were last seen sometime in '17 and their home remained frozen In time like they had just left until late '19 when the building was gutted by a fire that somehow destroyed everything but left the Building structurally sound. All that remains is some of their artwork and clothing.
