Since 2016, construction work on the new building of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly began, which will be built on an area of 40,000 square meters.
The new building will have 20 floors and an anti-seismic metal structure and new hemicicycles for the Deputies and Senators chambers, offices for all authorities, archives areas and five basement levels that will be used as parking lots and it is expected that the final delivery will be the year 2019.
The objective is to provide greater comfort to the commissions and committees and that the deputies have where to serve people and that citizens can enter accessible spaces.It should be noted that the current building will be converted into a heritage museum.
