Ostler’s Hut The smallest Listed building in London is this hut for ostlers in Lincoln’s inn. Built in 1860, its occupant’s function was to take care of the horses (and carriage-horses) coming into the inn. The role was made redundant with the arrival of the ‘horseless’ carriage or motorcar.
