Underground facilities are visible in 6 Feb 2003 Google Earth satellite imagery. By 10 October 2003 it was fully covered.

At around 2:20-2:40 AM local time on June 22, 2025, a US B-2 stealth bomber dropped two GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator "bunker-buster" bombs on the Natanz underground facility, significantly damaging the underground enrichment halls.
