This is the main post office building in Ipoh. It has been operational since 20th May 1971. It is managed by Pos Malaysia Berhad, a leading post services company in Malaysia. The company was privatized in 1992 from the governmental owned Malaysian Postal Services Department. The company holds an exclusive concession to provide mail services through its network of over 850 branches and mini post offices in Malaysia.
