East Elmhurst (New York City, New York)

East Elmhurst is a neighborhood in the northwestern part of New York City's borough of Queens. It's bounded by the Grand Central Parkway and La Guardia Airport to the north and east, by Northern Blvd. in the south to its junction with Junction Blvd., in the west and north on that to 94th street and so to Astoria Blvd. and so back to its intersection with the Grand Central Parkway in the St. Michael's Cemetery vicinity.

East Elmhurst is a culturally diverse area in New York City, in the northwest of the borough of Queens. Residents are mostly moderate-income families, but there are also low-income areas. It includes Trainsmeadow, which is its western section. It is patrolled by the New York Police Department's 115th Precinct. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 3. The zip codes of East Elmhurst are 11369 and 11370.

  • Too many whiners live here. They always complain about the jets at LaGuardia. Guess what - the airport was there before you invaded the area from south of the border.
