Wroclaw Botanical Garden is a scientific, educational and entertainment center. It is an essential part of the University of Wroclaw. The garden is at the heart of the city and it is considered a pleasant oasis of tranquility and relaxation.
It is the second oldest botanical garden in Poland, after the Botanical Garden in Krakow. Its history dates back to 1811. The garden is located within a protected landscape area and occupies a total area of 7.4 hectares. The expositions present over 12,000 species. Wroclaw Botanical Garden is open from early April to late November from 08,00-18,00.
