148-foot, 13-story Art-Deco cooperative-apartment building completed in 1951 as rental apartments. Designed by Boak & Raad, it is clad in beige brick. A recessed bay near the middle of both main facades allows for many corner apartments. The main entrance is in the recessed bay at the center of the west facade, with glass doors set in a white marble surround (black at the base) with a steel canopy. Above, the upper floors have two single-windows in the recessed bay. The south wing has two tripartite window bays with the outer ends wrapping around the corners. The north wing has a tripartite window (with the inner edge also wrapping around the corner of the recessed bay), a single-window, and a double-window wrapping around the northwest corner to double-windows at the west end of the north facade. These all have white metal framing, and air-conditioner vents below the larger bays. At the sidewalk level are smaller basement windows.
The north elevation on 22nd Street has a recessed bay farther to the east, with a secondary entrance also in a white marble surround. As the site slopes gently down, this entrance is at the same level as the basement on Lexington, but is fully above grade here. Above it, the 2nd floor has one single-window, while the others have two. To the west there are two tripartite windows (with the inner edge of the first wrapping around the corner), two single-windows, and the double-window at the end. To the east are two tripartite windows, with both outer edges wrapping around the corners. The basement (now ground-level) windows are smaller and have beige iron grilles.
In 1990 the building converted to a Condop with 93 units; there are also four doctors' offices on the first floor.
