This Safeway at Pleasant Valley and Broadway retained its 1980s-era décor up until closing in September 2016 when it moved to a newly-built building in the same shopping center.

Comments

  • Supposed to relocate to CVS, which is still open. Jamba Juice would be relocated next to AAA. I think Starbuck's would also move near AAA or become part of Safeway or the new strip mall. No progress yet.
  • The current strip mall would be demolished. AAA, Safeway and Chase are probably the only things staying. GameStop and Payless would close. CVS and possibly Pet Food Express and Boston Market would close.
