Indian Mesa Wind Farm is located atop the western part of Indian Mesa, north of the junction of Interstate 10 with Ranch to Market Road 2886 (Exit 298, although "you can't get there from here") about 40 miles east of Fort Stockton, Texas. Commissioned in 2001, it consists of 125 Vestas V47/660 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 82.5 MW.

Note that the turbines on the eastern part of the mesa belong to a different wind farm: Desert Sky Wind Farm.
