Sacred site. Hindus come to offer special service to their departed ones every year on the early hours of KARKIDAKA VAVU (The new moon in the Malayalam month of Karkidakom - mid Jul to mid Aug).
Picture 1 ( was on a tag placed wrong)shows the "Hindustan Beach Resort" Hotel. Locals claim it was built illegally.
Picture 2 shows crows eating up the offerings.

  • This is Janardhana Swami's mannu(Shri.Shri. Janardhana Swami one of Shri. MahaVishnu's incarnations). its very difficult to get a chance to visit this beautiful, quiet & calm - God' own place. Once u get a chance u will feel the difference. this is my birthplace - i feel i am so lucky to be part of this cute place ..... but now i am away from here & i have not been able enjoy the thrill of my own Nadu (place). but i will go there at any cost.
