Jheel Park (Jamshed Town)

This was an old abandoned stone quarry thus difficult to build. Due to some heavy rains the ditch got filled with water, which never dried up. It became known as a "jheel". It was eventually developed into an informal park. Unfortunately, now some pieces of land around it are being sold for building houses. The place may be in danger of disappearing.
