The park encompasses 327 acres of rural farm land. The centerpiece is the St. Clair County Farm Museum and Historical Village, a collection of 19th century Midwestern American vernacular architecture. It contains the Murphy/Ryan Farmhouse, the Lynn Township School and the CC Peck & Company Bank.
Also within the park is a Nature Center with walking trails and bike paths.
Most innovative is the Splashpad, a "wave beach" with mechanically generated surf for everyone to wade in.
