A very old land mark, if I remember right the churh was redisigned by Charles Correa some time in the early 1970's. Doesn't look like a teaditional Church

  • the intention and rationale behind the new concept was honourable, but eventually became what every dadarite--be it catholic or hindu--now detest. it does not give you the awe of being in a church.

  • Our Lady of Salvation Church is indeed a replica of a portuguse style based on the portugual culture. It is said that any wishes asked to Our Lady with full Devotion is granted by her... The Youth of this Parish are very active involved in Church Activities. The Church is nbetter known as "PORTUGUSE CHURCH"
  • Our Lady of salvation has given many many religious and priestly vocations to the church in India. may God be praised.it would be good if the priest in charge of this site tell us more about them and where all our childreen are working in the harvest of the Lord. (A list could be prepared of all the vocations from this parish including all the living and the dead).
