The Culver Shuttle elevated line was the remnant of the original Culver Line alignment as constructed by the BMT. In the 50's the IND Church Ave line was connected to the Culver Line at Ditmars and the old route was kept on as a single track shuttle line. Service was eventually suspended in the 70's and the elevated structure demolished thereafter.
