Boutique hotel, opened 2014, closed 2024. Housed in the historic United Artists Theater Building, constructed in 1927. Designed by the architect C. Howard Crane of the firm Walker & Percy Eisen for the United Artists corporation formed by Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. It housed the flagship United Artists Theatre for many years, before being converted to a church, the Los Angeles University Cathedral, pastored by the late Gene Scott. It was sold in 2011, after his death to developers who converted it to a hotel (which opened in 2014 and closed in 2024) and restored the theatre.
