Named after William D Horsley ( 1834-1899 ), who was the British Collector of Cuddapah District and who made his summer house here. Located about 16km from Madanapalle town and 150 km from Bangalore at an elevation of 4200 feet above sea level, this quaint hill station is also known as the Ooty of Andhra.
