Whitewater Hill Wind Farm is located in the San Gorgonio Wind Resource Area, north of Interstate 10 about 0-2 miles west of Exit 117 north of Palm Springs, California. Commissioned in 2002, it consists of 41 GE Energy 1.5s wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 61.5 MW.
