History
When we talk about Calox International, we're talking about a company evolving throughout the years. In 1953, it started operations as Laboratorios Biogen, C.A. Later, in 1966, it entered into a partnership with McKesson - an acknowledged US corporation with experience in the medical field since 1833. By mid 1971, after a shares amendment and strengthening both the technological and marketing areas, it became Laboratorios Calox, C.A. In 1966 Laboratorios Calox resolved to join the globalization process by starting operations in Central America and changing its name to Calox International C.A. in 1998 thus reaffirming its corporate purpose: trading and manufacturing generic drugs for human and veterinary uses.
PREMISES
At its Caracas location, Calox International counts with a state-of- the- art pharmaceutical facility of approximately 10,500 mts surface. This building houses both managerial and administrative functions, as well as Research and Development, Production and Raw Material Storage, Finished Products Stocks, employees dining room and maintenance areas. The company is located in Los Cortijos Industrial Area, within Caracas eastern sector.
