This is one of the oldest towns in Soura Srinagar, mostly occupied by Beigh dynasty. This lies towards south of the biggest hospital of Srinagar viz. SKIMS Soura (Sheri Kashmir Medicak Inst Soura). This town is known for Medical Shops and Hotels/Restaurants. Moreover there is tendency of this being turning to commercial hub for its vicinity to SKIMS.
