It is named after the famous Russian naval fleet of sailing time, Fyodor Fyodorovich Ushakov, who ordered to lay a park, building pergolas, carousel, holiday sites. The gulch at the end of XIX - beginning of the twentieth century has been a favorite place for sailors and residents of the ship's Party. In this gulch a growing number of plants listed in the Red Book, including connate pistachio, which declared a state monument beam nature. At 1920s changed the gulch, giving her name Komsomolskaia. However, this new title was not accepted and beam back its original name.
