Italy / Lombardei / Milan
shopping center, head house (train station)

Milano Centrale Station is one of the main European railway stations (inaugurated in 1931). It is also considered as one of the most beautiful stations in the world.
The station has no definite architectural style, but is a blend of many different styles, especially Liberty and Art Deco, but not limited to those.
Its facade is 200 metres wide and its vault 72 metres high, a record when it was built.
It is a major hub for the high speed trains, regional trains, two metro lines (M2-Green and M3-Yellow), and many bus connections. The Linate airport bus also terminates here.
Additionally the Station also houses a number of retailers including the supermarket Sapori & Dintorni, the bookstore La Felterinelli, clothiers and eateries...
