Built 1927, designed by Albert Kahn as a research facility for General Motors. Occupied by various GM entities until 2001. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Donated to the College for Creative Studies in 2007, named the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. In 2012, Shinola established their headquarters here.
