The original building was designed by the noted Chicago firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst and White in 1927. The addition was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in 1951 when he was still part of Smith Hinchman & Grylls. The bank moved in 2006 and the building remained vacant for several years before being redeveloped with alterations by ROSSETTI. It is now the headquarters for Quicken Loans and the Detroit Free Press.
