12 Belgrave Square This mansion, standing at the west corner of Belgrave Square, was designed by Robert Smirke in 1830-33 for the 1st Earl Brownlow. Of five spacious bays and three storeys with a Greek Doric porch. Grade I listed.

The house was previously lived by Marquess of Pombal(1699-1782), a Portuguese diplomat and politician. A blue plaque was attached the outside of the embassy building.
