St. Peter's College Branch Campus

St. Peter's College adult campus is perched on a bluff overlooking northern Manhattan and the Hudson River, located on the Palisades. It is the former site of the Palisades Mountain House, a 4-story brick and stone hotel opened in 1860, which remained open until burning down in 1884. From 1884 to 1903, the property was known as Allison Point, named for William Outis Allison, who built his mansion at the site. Saint Joseph’s Orphanage moved to the site in 1907.
