Built by Fay Ingals{attorney/writer} c. 1916 Georgian Revival by George B. de Gersdorff. Playhouse/tennis court complex by James W. Connor later split from the estate when William Woodward Jr. purchased from then owner Charles McCann and his wife Helena Woolworth{FW Woolworth - Winfield Hall}. Woodward and The Playhouse became infamous with his death from gunshots fired by his wife Ann in 1955.
