Kadakkad Shri Bhadradevi Temple
FacingPandalam -Pathanamthitta Road 1.5 km away from Pandalam junction this famous temple is situated. In the past this temple was surruonded by thick forest called "Kharankkad"means forest of Kharan,a demon according to mythology who was defeated by Godess Shri Bhadra.Later 'Kharankkad" became Kadakkad. Even now a small portion of this forest is preserved around the temple. | ||||
