New Amman project was a new city project to be built in five phases over a surface of almost 400 square kilometres. It has officially been declared cancelled end of September 2019 as per government speaker Jumanah Ghnaimat in a televised interview.
Plans were initially announced by Jordanian prime minister Hani Al-Mulqi on 23rd October 2017. No detailed map was ever published by the government. The outline put for this object is therefore not entirely correct, and a photo taken from the first source quoted below was used as a reference.
