Shakhtar Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Donetsk, Ukraine.
It was used mostly for football matches.
The stadium is designed for 31,718 seats.

The stadium was used by FC Metalurh Donetsk for the European competition.
It was built in 1936, next reconstructions were in 1950, 1966, 1981, 2000.
The football club eventually moved to the adjacent Donbas Arena.

The stadium is known as assassination place of notorious criminal Akhat Bragin on 15 October 1995. After this event it did not function as a stadium for several years.
